Our team
Who you actually speak to, and how they get paid.
The nurse you speak to first
Every person who contacts us speaks to a nurse before they speak to a doctor. That call is free, it is a conversation rather than a form, and it is where somebody finds out honestly whether this is the right service for them. The nurse is on a salary. Nothing about their pay changes based on how many people go on to see the doctor.
The doctor
Consultations are held by a medical practitioner holding current Ahpra registration, working under the same registration board and the same obligations as any doctor in the country. They are paid for the time. Not per patient, not per prescription, and with no bonus attached to what they write.
The people who keep it running
The operating side is run by non-clinicians. They decide what the service costs and how it is built, and they do not make clinical decisions. That separation is deliberate and it is the right way round: the doctor decides what this service will and will not treat.
Why there are no photos here
There are no photographs of people anywhere on this site, and that is a decision rather than an oversight. Stock photography of Aboriginal faces used to sell a service is exactly the kind of thing that makes people distrust one, and a real photograph of a real person needs their real consent, on their terms, not ours.
What you will find instead is the emblem, used whole and at a size where its detail reads. Everything else on the site is geometry drawn around it: an oval vignette, the spectrum arc, a rule. Nothing here imitates the artwork’s technique, because extending an artist’s piece with a copy of their own hand is the thing to avoid.
Checking a practitioner
Any registered health practitioner in Australia can be looked up on the public Ahpra register, including ours. You do not need our permission and you do not need to tell us you are doing it. If somebody will not give you their registration number, that is information in itself.
Something not right?
The complaints page has a real process, and you can go straight to Ahpra or your state health complaints commissioner without coming through us at all.
