Terms

The terms, in language you can actually read.

Nothing here takes away a right you have under Australian Consumer Law or the health complaints system, and nothing here stops you complaining about us to a regulator.

Bundjalung Bugalwah is a service of Golden Ratio Clinics Pty Ltd.

What this website is

Information about a health service. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and reading it does not make you our patient. See the medical disclaimer.

What we provide

Telehealth consultations by video or phone with practitioners holding current Ahpra registration. A consultation is a clinical assessment. It is not a guarantee of any particular outcome, and it is not a guarantee of a prescription.

Our doctor is paid the same whether a consultation ends in a prescription or in a considered no. If a treatment is not appropriate for you, you will be told so.

What it costs

There is no fee for the nurse call and no fee for the consultation. If a medicine is prescribed you pay the dispensing pharmacy for the medicine, at a price you are told before anything is written. We do not mark up medicine and we take no commission on it.

What we ask of you

  • Give accurate information about your health and what you are already taking. Clinical decisions are made on what you tell us.
  • Do not use this service in an emergency. Ring 000.
  • Do not share your appointment link or account with anyone else.

Cancelling

You can stop using this service at any time and you do not have to give a reason. There is no contract, no minimum term and no cancellation fee, because there is nothing to cancel. Your records are kept for the period the law requires.

When we might end it

We may decline to continue treating someone where it is clinically inappropriate, where our staff are abused, or where the service is being misused. Where we do, we say why, and we help you find care elsewhere.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or under health practitioner regulation. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that affects current patients, we will tell those patients rather than quietly updating this page.
